General Information

  • The School of Education, Health and Human Behavior is committed to an inclusive environment. The school's Diversity Committee pursues a variety of projects each year to ensure that our school is welcoming to underrepresented students, faculty, and staff.

  • Historically, members of the Diversity Committee have provided training related to LGBTQI students' needs, have assisted with efforts to mentor international students and students of color within our school, and have advised faculty about diversity-related information provided in course syllabi. In addition, all faculty search committees within the school include one member who is formally assigned as a diversity advocate, and all search committees use procedures designed to enhance the number and diversity of applications received for faculty positions.

  • To obtain more information about the school's inclusion efforts or Diversity Committee, please see the School of Education Health and Human Behavior's website.
